Facing predators and protecting weaker creatures, the small traveler slowly evolves — first into Grotle, and eventually into the colossal Torterra. As the forest gains its guardian, the ecosystem begins to change. A silent Greninja observes from the shadows. A lost Vulpix (Alolan Form) finds refuge far from its frozen homeland. Together they face the growing darkness threatening the forest — including corrupted Zoroark lurking within the woods. But across a distant canyon, another guardian watches from the shadows.
