Join me on day two as I explore Magic Kingdom’s rope drop at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. Following a great sleep at New Orleans Riverside, the Kingdom awaits for a lot of walking and rides. Following some time in the park, we hop over to Epcot for a few hours before finishing the night in Disney Springs. We were up very early, just before 5am and decided to have a look around whilst it was nice and quiet. We took our mugs to the food court hoping for some much needed coffee, however we soon learn that these facilities are not 24/7 (at not the coffee). They were starting to fill them up at 6am, however officially, they open at 7am. With coffee in hand, we have a look around some more before eventally making some early purchases in the store at Port Orleans Riverside - I finally purchase the Walt Disney World backpack and Magic Band+ Being up so early, we are able to make it to Magic Kingdom for early entry. As we entered, the lines were building at the entrance to the park - pro tip is to keep going left where the lines really thin out. We make our way to Tomorrowland, pass the people behind the rope who do not have early access and mange to start riding early and with minimal wait times for Space Mountain and Buzz! We have lunch - the first real thing we have eaten today, an Pinocchio's House and share some more experience of using the Dining Plan. I go through exactly how to use it when mobile ordering in as much details as I can, to help you if you have never used it before. We spend some more time and manage to catch the Festival of Fantasy parade before deciding to head out of the park as the crowds had build up to the point of it us not even being able to get any more lightning lanes and the lines that had formed were just crazy long. We decide to the take the boat over to the Polynesian before jumping on the monorail for a leisurely trip to Epcot. We are not spending too long in this park today, but just enough for a couple of rides - Soarin' and Nemo; grab a quick snack then bus it over to Springs. After another meal at D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs, we soon realise that most the people all decided to do the same, and we could not even get into any shops, so following a frustrating (and exhausting) end to the night, we make our way back to the room.
