Ian and Moe Walker make uptwo thirds of The Ian Walker Band (with Jimmy Scott). Ian and Moe have sung throughout the UK and the Netherlands and in America at a wide variety of events, clubs and festivals. Ian is a Glasgow born singer and songwriter with over 20 albums and several songbooks published. His best known songs include “Hawks & Eagles”, “Some Hae Meat” and “Sing Me A Song Mr. Bloom” among others. He has recorded with Fellside and Greentrax Records and has long standing associations with Scots/Irish Band “Setanta” and singer songwriter Ian Bruce. He has also written and performed songs and acted in several musical plays in recent years. Moe is originally from Holywood,Northern Ireland and has an extensive singing background. Notably, she recorded an album with her group “Tricycle”and they appeared over many years at events throughout Scotland and on Scottish Television's popular entertainment show “Thingummyjig”.  Outwith the Band, Moe is currently a member of Alan Reid’s Ayrshire based singing group “TheChancers”and has sung in “The War Show”since 2014 to date in the Netherlands. Ian, Moe and Jimmy have often been joined at clubs and festivals by John Graham (of “The Clydesiders” and“John Graham & Jim Jack”). John sings and plays multiple instruments particularly the fiddle and has been an enormous and welcome support to the Band. John joins Ian & Moe at The Meeting Place online.
