Spring is coming, the cow is in milk and the chickens are laying like crazy. Time to get into some butter making and egg preserving. We love pickled eggs and today I will show you a simple recipe for making some delicious eggs and also an easy way to make butter with modern conveniences! If only our ancestors could see us now! Pickled egg recipe Makes 1 quart ( I doubled the recipe in todays video) -2 cups vinegar -1 cup sugar -2 tbsp salt -3-4 tsp pickling spice -1-2 cloves garlic -1 tsp minced onions or onion powder 1) peel hard boiled eggs, place in quart size jar 2) in a saucepan combine all ingredients.
