The park include a Western- style mansion and a Western- style rose garden and a Japanese -style garden all of these are built in early 20th century .This house or villa is a 300 years of age since it was built.The villa or the building is located on the top of a hill with the Western-style garden on the slope and Japanese garden on the bottom.This site is designated as a place of "Scenic Beauty" .The Western style house building with a Western style garden was completed in 1917.Both were designed by Josiah Conderジヨサイア。コンドル ,日本で有名な英国建築家 a British architect famous in Japan (1852-1920). The Japanese garden was designed by a well known designer from Kyoto和庭手掛けた人物は京都から周知な Ogawa Jihei小川治兵衛 alias Niwashi-Ueji 植治(1860 to 1933) was also finished in the same year . The impressIve classic style of the villa will catch your attentIon upon entering the gate. An elegant house and a romantic garden with the fruity smell of roses will make you feel refresh.There are 199 roses in 100 different varieties.This western garden is a complex of Italian style and geometric French style rose garden. From Shinjuku I took the Yamanote line train Ueno route and get down at Komagome station .It's a 12 minute walking distance away from the station .
