It specializes in FatChanceBellyDance®Style of dance (formerly known as American Tribal Style® belly dance), a style created by Carolena Nericcio-Bohlman of FatChanceBellyDance®. Learn to belly dance in a warm, encouraging environment! We welcome women of all ages, shapes and sizes regardless of previous dance experience. FatChanceBellyDance®Style classes do not teach choreographed routines. Instead, students gradually learn steps and cues within the FatChanceBellyDance®Style vocabulary. The dancers then use that vocabulary to create a unique dance each class. The dance inspires women to connect to themselves and to other women, promoting positive self-image and a sense of community. It is Creativity in Motion!
