BASIC MODEL FOR FAST SHOOTING There are many different methods and techniques which apparently can be used in mounted archery, (the historical ones plus the personal interpretations of them). The people can get confused when is to choose the most suitable technical elements for their archery form: the basic stance, the drawing method, the loading technique, the quiver type, etc... Even using correct technical elements, the final result can be disappointing if these are not included in a logical, effective system. For cooking a tasty, good food are needed indeed good ingredients. But if the ingredients are not compatible, it's just wasting time! In case of my shooting style (which proved to be very effective during many international horseback archery competitions), there are many posts and videos describing different aspects of it: fast loading techniques, the dynamic of the basic stance, The Shot from Heart, drawing the bow with the body, the head movements, the Horse Style Shooting, the "forward punch", Rain of Arrows technique, etc, etc... In order to put together all this (apparently), different "ingredients", is needed a "cooking pot". This is supposed to be an inspirational model behind the actual technique. It should be as simple as possible, but good enough to assimilate all the technical aspects in an attractive way, dear to the archer's heart. In this video I'm sharing with you my personal (external) model of shooting: "PULLING THE TARGET WITH A ROPE"! It contains all the elements necessary for accurate and fast shooting from horseback or on foot: the basic stance, the shape and the dynamic of the archery form, the aiming principle, the rhythm, the balance and the connection with the target. Also it teaches the archer how to connect naturally his movements with the gravitational center in order to achieve more power. -Mihai Cozmei
