Exploring Southwest Florida! Relaxing on Sanibel, Captiva and Pine Islands!

Part 1 of 2: Relaxing on Island Time! I explored Southwest Florida a bit with friends and family that were visiting. We drove down to Pine Island for the weekend and explored nearby Sanibel and Captiva Islands. It was fun hunting for sea shells on the beaches. All the food was delicious! This is more of a highlight reel of things we did and saw. Enjoy the scenery. Note: This area of Florida has taken a beating the last 2 or 3 years with the 3 big Hurricanes that came by but they are bouncing back! You'll see in my video many piling poles sticking out of the water where docks use to be, empty lots or slabs of concrete where homes and businesses use to be before the storms destroyed them. Codes are in place now in many areas where homes being rebuilt now have to be raised up off the ground. Many of the neighborhoods on these Islands have water canals behind the houses where owners can dock their boats and get out to the Gulf easily.
