Welcome to the first edition of Voyage, a heartfelt musical tribute presented live from Gyan Manch, Kolkata. Voyage is a dream project envisioned by Late Paresh Nath Ghoshal and Late Devnarayan Ghoshal — a celebration of art, spirituality, and the eternal journey of the soul. Inspired by the last poem written by Paresh Nath Ghoshal in the final week of his life, this evening is dedicated to honoring their legacy through music, emotion, and artistic expression. Curated and organized by Swaroop Ghoshal, and powered by DJ Vishwarup, this unique presentation brings together eminent artists from across India. The event blends different genres of music and dance, creating not just a performance, but a spiritual confluence — a connection between souls and a tribute to our elders. Join us as we embark on this auspicious journey — The Voyage That was a voyage from darkness to light, That was a voyage from ignorance to imagination That was a voyage from cruelty to kindness, That was a voyage from Earthly to Ethereal. The sun is almost setting, All the voyages have foiled. Now, I bathe ceaselessly in the ocean of time, Captivated silence and imprisoned existence; Fast fading shadows scream in vain- Strange darkness pierces through the horizen. Krishna Dwaipayan Lake was equally silent, Lord Krishna and Pandavas had returned to Hastinapur Emperor Duryodhana crestfallen, was lying on the grasses, Knees were broken, injuries all over the body, Blood was pouring out of the lips, Cheeks awfully red with blood, Vultures were flying eagerly in the sky. The Lake is quiet, enveloped with horrible silence. The present silence is more horrible, I listen to thy clarion call, oh! Lord. Very feeble but vibrant. Paresh Nath Ghoshal Voyage, the last poem written by my father, Pareshnath Ghoshal, embraces the profound truth of the eternal journey toward the Almighty. He wrote this poem in the final week of his life. At that time, perhaps we did not fully understand its depth. But soon after, it became more than just words on paper — it became his own voyage toward his ultimate destiny. Through this poem, he left us not only verses, but a message — that life itself is a journey, and every soul moves forward toward a greater light. Tonight, as we present Voyage, we do so with reverence, gratitude, and love — honoring his spirit and the path he showed us. #djbiswarup #djbiswarupmusic #indianclassicalmusic #sudipchattopadhyay #flute #gyanmanch #voyageofficial
