Change is always hard. But change isn't always good. New generation Toyotas have ruined the brand's reputation. The new Land Cruiser, Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, and Sequoia are all watered-down versions of what they used to be. The 2025 Toyota 4Runner, Land Cruiser and Tacoma now all sport a tiny 2.4L 4 cylinder under the hood. A turbo 4 banger or hybridized turbo 4 banger. No true Toyotas enthusiast ever asked for this. This is Toyota's attempt to cash in on carbon credits from the US Government... Pumping out these tiny engine vehicles, these throw away vehicles! Let me know your thoughts, do you agree Toyota has completely gone against their original core values as a company? Toyota is no longer known for their reliability, simplicity and affordability. The prices on these new gen Toyotas are quite sickening. Toyota has priced out the middle class. What are you seeing at your local dealerships? Mostly Tacomas and Tundras? How many 4Runners, Land Cruisers and Sequoias? Lots of unsold 2024 units still on lots, meanwhile the 2026 models will be arriving in Sept. People are FED UP with paying MORE money for LESS quality. These lesser vehicles aren't worth it anymore, who's still buying it? Seems as though Toyota has gone the way of Ford, Chevy and Stellantis... Pumping out trash vehicles that will only last 3-5 years before needing to sell or scrap it.
