He demonstrates this by using the Visual Studio 8 C++ debugger to attempt to step through some code written by an extremely intelligent developer named David Eberly, who chose to write the particular implementation of one of his research papers in OOP. Shawn's thesis is that even though David Eberly is extremely smart, the fact that he wrote the code in OOP made it impossible to decipher.
