We have visited Kenya for the 2025 harvest to see and select the best varieties in January! We started our first farm visit with the beautiful Mtaro Estate in Kiambu County. The Estate is located right off the capitol - Nairobi - Thika highway, 10km along Juja - Gatundu road in Kiaora Location 1600metres above sea level. Mary, from CMS accompanied us and showed us around the wonderful farm and washing station, where more than 198,632 ha are filled with coffee bushes from varieties: Ruiru 11,SL 28,SL 34,K7, Batian. The place and the atmosphere is super and the landscape is breathtaking (not to mention the great coffees)... Ethicoffee - Specialty from the Source Ethicoffee focuses on delivering exceptional, arabica coffee from the origins. We are trading excellent direct and fair-trade coffee beans (thanks to vertical integration) that can be traced back to the farms. It is more than selling coffee for us. We educate people of the coffee origin, also promote the culture and history. Our main vision is to provide a full service with reliable goods and fair-trade products all over Europe and other continents.
