Have you ever wondered how accurate your grade predictions would be? In this video I send a stack of my favourite Pokémon cards to Ace Grading, guess their grades and reveal the results a month later. You’ll see why I chose Ace, learn about the costs and service options, and follow along as I prep, submit and finally unbox the slabs to see how close my predictions were. Ace Grading offers fast turnaround, free subgrades (corners, edges, surfaces and centering) and a user‑friendly dashboard. They accept submissions from the UK, EU, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. When you submit cards, you can choose a standard label for free, a colour‑match label for £1, or an Ace label for £3 per card. Service levels range from Basic (£12 per card with an 80‑day turnaround) to Luxury (£50 per card with a 2‑day turnaround), and each tier includes real‑time tracking and custom label options. Before sending, I prepare each card by placing it in a clear sleeve and then a semi‑rigid holder to avoid any handling. Using the Ace website, I submit my order, select the service level and enter the card details. After confirming, I print the submission slip, pack the cards in the order listed and tape the submission number to the package. For shipping, UK customers send to the Banbury address provided, while international customers print a DHL Express label and drop it at a local DHL point. Ace’s high‑quality slab protects your collectibles and showcases the card beautifully. With grade reveals available in your dashboard, you can follow the journey even before the slabs return. Watch to see which cards exceeded expectations and which ones matched my guesses. I’ll share my thoughts on Ace’s grading scale, the cost‑to‑value ratio and whether I would submit again.
