The prophecy of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ always comes true. As soon as the spirit of Islam recedes, shards of weakness appear in everything we do. As weakness afflicts the heart, Muslims start feeling feebleness and loss; surrendering to everything “carried by the winds”. [Hadith on torrential torrents] Muslims are now forced to accept the system of life against the Divine law (Syariah law). Imitation of disbelievers’ cultures and customs became the norm and something looked up to in high regard. Whereas the Islamic cultures and customs were now branded as retrograde (i.e. backwards), and the practising Muslims were labelled as terrorists, extremists, fundamentalists and many other negative titles. Muslims have been persecuted for far too long everywhere in the world whether through global wars or communal violence. This defeatist mindset is what caused catastrophic consequences in the form of Muslim minorities being massacred and countless forms of humiliation across the spectrum of society where Muslims have struggled to even live as equals. There are continued attacks on Muslims from across the spectrum of world powers - via continual enforcement of new treaties and agreements on social, political, health and education policies which are against the doctrine of Islam. The clash between the truth and false will continue until the Hour is established. Allah said, “They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.” [Al-Saf: 8] and, “Say, ‘Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance.’ If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper.” [Al-Baqarah: 120]
