3RD TIMES THE CHARM PLEASEEEEE Me and my friend kay_21 participated in the Hypixel Blitz Survival Games (BSG) Tournament on the accounts xkay_21 and JIJIGAHOOO. Sadly this ended in kay_21 getting false-banned, we figured out this was probably because a couple weeks ago he played on a friends account, which has since been banned, connecting a competitive-ban to his ip. For those wondering I did not get banned, but my points (and winstreaks elsewhere on the server) were wiped as a result. This ban did happen to kay for a legitimate reason but i would still consider it false as he didn't do anything wrong, someone else got the account he played on banned. Neither of us have a history of hacking or cheating in any way, and the worst part is this was actually 1 of the least cheater infested tournaments of them all, we didn't get bhopped on a single time in the entire tournament, and to our knowledge neither did anyone else in the top 20. We finished #11 and 12 in this tournament, we held #1 for a while but we couldn't keep it, but we would've finished #5 and 6 if we didn't get falsely wiped. This is the second tournament I've played in a row that I got falsely wiped at #5 (the mini walls tournament I would've received a blaze pet), Hypixel's punishments are insanely inconsistent, legit players regularly get banned during tournaments while people violently cheating somehow manage to get past the ban wave. Anyone who would like to call us out for actually cheating should keep in mind basically no-one in the top 2000 has called us out, and basically all of the top 30 (mostly people who actually know who we are and also queued us during the tournament) all vouch to us being legit, if you're going to call us out for cheating at least consider that better players (who also actually fought us) all vouch to us being legit. We both got falsely wiped likely because he had access to a friends shared account that others cheated on. While this ban makes sense that it occurred its still not justified especially considering what was put into nearly winning a tournament of this scale, only to be lost to a false wipe. Hypixel needs to get their shit together with the punishments, teams actively evading bans on other accounts that they got took far longer to get wiped than us, some not getting wiped at all, and other teams got falsebanned for seemingly even less reason, while the #1 team remaining on leaderboards still had a known cheater, with there being multiple other teams still not banned while cheating. It's the same story tournament after tournament, of some legit players getting banned, some not, some cheaters getting banned, and just as many not getting banned. The punishments on Hypixel are inconsistent and some of the admins issuing the punishments don't even understand combat enough to ban effectively, in the last blitz tournament seanlol was banned for a desync difference in positioning, which is literally the most fundamental part of Minecraft PVP, yet the staff members issuing bans don't seem to understand its affect on the game and account for it while banning players. I might play future tournaments for the content, but at this point the tournament system on Hypixel is a joke, with all of the legit players getting caught in the banwave tournament after tournament while some blatant cheaters still manage to consistently get through. It also doesn't help that the anticheat harms legit players gameplay more than actual cheaters with lagbacks and hitreg issues, while still failing to ban basically anyone anyways. GGs
