In this Excel tutorial, you’ll learn how to use both the TRANSLATE and DETECTLANGUAGE functions to help you translate text in Excel. The TRANSLATE function can translate any text within your Excel sheet. We’ll walk through the three arguments that make up this function and learn how to use each one. NOTE: The TRANSLATE function will not translate formulas; it will only translate text.
