Ted lives with his partner, Josie, in the house his great-great-grandfather built on their farm in Sudbury, Vermont, where they’ve shared a life rooted in farming for 50 years. While no longer chasing a paycheck, Ted still works with a pair of Belgians on the farm and enjoys passing on what he’s learned. He sees himself as a living link between the old-timers he grew up with—who spent their lives farming with horses—and the young people who give him hope for the future.
