After you set-up your e-collar, the next thing you're going to want to do is find your dog's "working level". This is the lowest level that the dog responds to on the e-collar. In this video, I'm going to show you how to find the working level on a long-haired dog (which comes with some fitting challenges). Penny is a dog who also doesn't have a very strong reaction to the e-collar when she feels it, which can make it difficult for some owners to get the working level correctly. IMPORTANT: Make sure that you switch the side that the collar is on every 2 hours or so. This will prevent your dog from developing pressure sores.
