Filmed on July 6th, 2016 This US Airways 737-400 model in old colors is my very first Herpa Wings model in my aircraft collecting journey that I've bought for $29.80 + $9.99 in shipping. This classic colors sure looks beautiful, even if it's seen better days before the America West merger, as well as before the merger with American Airlines. This model is made entirely of plastic, like any 1:200 Hogan Wings narrow-body model, including the landing gears, in which does not feature rubber tires. The level of detail is also similar to any 1:200 Hogan Wings narrow-body model, in which is not as detailed as any Gemini200 model or certain 1:200 Hogan wide-bodies. The wing/engine detail, however, is much more detailed compared to any Hogan Wings model that I've collected so far. Despite the lack of landing lights, the wings have chrome detail, as well as contrast of the wing surfaces and wing edges, NAV/logo lights, and engine markings. The engine fans does not spin by blowing into it, but can be spun with a small pin or similar object. Overall, this classic US Airways 737-400 looks beautiful despite its modest detail; this reasonable pricing makes this model worth buying!
