I wanted to introduce in this video construction for live music my ever growing attraction to the pictorial stories found in fine art museums in all cities. I appropriate these images and animate them through their scrolling, their live cropping and their colorimetric variations passing from one detail to another while tuning to the tones of the music. I seek to transmit my reception of the immediate vividness of these images of fathers and mothers chosen through time. The combination of music and video in live performance allows this.
