Clemson vs. North Carolina: The No. 3 seed North Carolina Tar Heels played small ball in the early innings as they built a 4-0 lead over the No. 5 seed Clemson Tigers and exploded for 8 runs behind 3 home runs in the 5th inning on their way to a 14-4 win in the 2025 ACC Baseball Championship title game. Ryan Lynch got the start on the mound for the Tar Heels and was terrific early on, striking out 7 batters while giving up only 2 hits in the first 4 innings. The freshman pitcher worked himself out of a bases-loaded, no-out jam in the 4th by striking out Jacob Jarrell and Jack Crighton and retiring TP Wentworth on a groundout to end the threat. The 5th inning saw Hunter Stokely, Tyson Bass and Jackson Van De Brake all homer as they extended the lead.
