LOST AT SEA

While vacationing in San Diego, California we were playing at the beach at sunset on our first night there. My 7 year old son miraculously picked up surfing on his first try! So he continued to practice into the evening. At one point he was knocked over by a wave and was taking longer than normal to resurface. My wife sprang into action without hesitation, bounding across the wet sand and into the ocean waters to grab him. In the process she soaked her phone and apparently the car keys and keys to the storage compartment on top of our van snapped off the lanyard around her neck and fell into the ocean, never to be seen again.
