HERBAS hemp processing line is developed for plants mainly grown for CBD and seed usage grown in a dense arrangement. In case of growing bush-like hemp, an additional machine is needed. The arrangement shown is designed to take hemp branches with seeds and/or inflorescence, primarily hemp tops cut by dedicated harvester (check out HERBAS rearranged version of Jaguar combine https://herbas.hr/equipment-for-prepa... After harvest, hemp is dried - usually in 40 m2 floor driers which are easily filled with telehandlers or conveyors. In dry state, hemp can be stored until processing. Check out how hemp is dried on following link:    • Drying and sorting of industrial hemp   As a result, from dried hemp branches three streams are separated through several steps: clean seeds, CBD rich and comminuted inflorescence, and branches. CBD rich and comminuted inflorescence usually comes in different fractions by size and content. It is directly packaged by a Y-screw conveyor in bulk form - in bags, boxes or other packaging. In coordination with our customers, packaging can be added to the processing line. The filtration system accumulates valuable CBD rich dust from various locations across the production line. This makes ideal for extraction processes, or other uses as content can be rich with bioactive compounds. HERBAS has extensive experience in this field from similar process, and have started with hemp program since the very beginnings of hemp cultivation in Croatia.
