The Wii Version of Metroid Prime 2 has a lot of notable changes compared to the Gamecube Version, the most notable is being able to aim freely. However there a a lot of minor changes a casual player wouldn't notice. Retro Studios tried to fix a lot of bugs and glitches the Speedrun community has found and for a long time we thought that they were successful with that. Until late 2016 when we found a new method of keeping the starting Items we thought that the lowest % you could get would be 19%. This is my first attempt TASing the Wii Version of Echoes and it took me over half of the run to get comfortable with the motion controls. I still prefer the Gamecube version mostly because it's less floaty and has a way better way of changing weapons and visors. This is a Low% Run. The collected Items are: Seeker Launcher Dark Beam Light Beam Power Bomb Screw Attack Annihilator Beam Light Suit Dark Visor Unlike the Gamecube version skipping Seeker Launcher is not possible on Wii due to the different behavior of the Screw Attack. Skipping Annihilator Beam is possible but it's very tight on health and out of my current TAS-Skill level for this version. So 7% might be possible on Wii.
