Working with GeoExpress Now we are working with GeoExpress. For raster basic compression, we need to give this command- MrSID Geo encoder I for input, Then file name and O for output. Then again file name, This is the format, & it's lossless. You can see the input file name - it's Parker sample ortho 3 centimetres RGB TIFF file and output file name is lossless. That is SID format and output format is MrSID generation 4 raster. So now we have successfully converted the file from TIFF to SID format. We need to check. We can see the SID file. For compression ratio, We need to give this command- MrSID Geo encoder, input file name output file name MG4 format and compression ratio 20. Now we can see the input file name and output file name and output format is generation 4 for the compression ratio of TIFF format to SID format. Now we can check that the output file is- CR 20 dot SID for the cropping. Now, for centering you need to give ping command. Check for the file name. Yeah, here you can clearly see the crop underscore center dot SID. For edge trim, we need to give the crop top 500, crop left 500, crop bottom 500, crop right 500, and compression range is 15. You can see the input file name and output file name and output format. Now we can see the cropping is done. We need to check the file name. You can see crop edges dot SID which you gave the output file name for viewing metadata of the SID file.
