Yet there's another side of this city, of this region: it's nature. You'll grow tired of counting peaks and gaining elevation will become your daily routine in Hakkâri. Surrounded by so many mountains, this region is home to many glaciers (some are very old yet, sadly melting away) and from those glaciers rivers create and feed entire meadows.
