Eclipse energy is powerful enough to altar the direction of your life and propel you into a whole new phase. A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes into the Earth’s shadow, darkening or obscuring its face wholly or partially. It can only happen during a full moon when the sun, Earth and moon are aligned. Astrologically, a Full Moon symbolizes culmination—a moment of clarity and release, encouraging us to let go of what no longer serves us. A lunar eclipse, however, intensifies this energy, acting as a powerful cosmic catalyst for profound change. For each of us, eclipses are gateways for transformation, often bringing fated events and karmic lessons into sharp focus. Eclipses tend to happen with a two week span of each other. The lunar eclipse on the 14th will be followed by a solar eclipse on the 29th. The time between eclipses is known as an “eclipse portal.” It is a “fated window of destiny,” rife with highly karmic events. Abrupt change, monumental forward motion, and chaos are hallmarks of this timeframe. Situations that no longer serve you may come to an end- jobs, relationships, living situations, or even ways of thinking. Eclipse portals gateways that propel us towards our destiny! With this eclipse comes the final purge we need to make in our lives in order to enter fully into our next new beginning–which is coming with the arrival of spring.
