Senior Haryana IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar committed suicide on Tuesday. He shot himself in his Sector 11 bungalow in Chandigarh. Upon receiving information about the incident, senior Chandigarh police officers arrived at the scene. After inspecting the scene, Chandigarh SSP Kanwardeep Kaur said, "Y. Puran Kumar has committed suicide. Nothing more can be said at this time.
