CBI Files FIR Against Rhea Chakraborty, Family In SSR Case; MoD China Report Row | Morning Newswrap

A day after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) received a notification from the central government to probe the death of Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, the agency Thursday filed a First Information Report (FIR) against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, common friend Samuel Miranda and three others. In a shocking development in the Kerala Gold scam case, the NIA on Thursday disclosed the association of Swapna Suresh with that of CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s former secretary. Also, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) took down a document uploaded on its website that admitted Chinese transgressions into Indian territory in Eastern Ladakh beginning early May.
