Making my favorite vanilla sweetened pepita milk from raw pumpkin seeds – creamy, nut-free, and packed with skin- and gut-loving minerals. Pepitas (pumpkin seeds) are naturally high in protein, zinc, and magnesium, which support immune health, hormone balance, and deep, calm sleep, and they’re traditionally used to help the body clear parasites and support a healthy gut environment. RECIPE – VANILLA SWEETENED PEPITA MILK • 1 cup raw pepitas (pumpkin seeds), rinsed/soaked if you like • 4 cups water (to the minimum line in the Almond Cow base) • 2 tbsp maple syrup • 1 tsp vanilla extract • Pinch of sea salt DIRECTIONS – ALMOND COW METHOD 1. Add the pepitas to the Almond Cow basket and attach it to the lid. 2. Pour water into the base up to the minimum line, then add maple syrup, vanilla, and sea salt directly into the base. 3. Place the lid on, press the button, and let it run through 3 blending cycles. 4. When it’s done, remove the basket and blender, and boom – you’ve got fresh vanilla sweetened pepita milk. STORAGE • Fridge: Store in an airtight container for about 3–4 days. • Freezer: Freeze in a jar or silicone tray for about 4–6 months. Sip it straight, pour over coffee or matcha, or use it in smoothies and cereal.
