This is the new BMW chime and blinker that's been in use in most of their cars for a few years now- this is the G20 3 series. Keep watching til the end, I tacked on another start up. I think the error chime sounds really good. BMW also changed the blinker stalk to stay down instead of going back to center when you activate it. This is a loaner car I got while my F30 was in for a recall. I was honestly not stoked about getting a G20 but I never had really driven one other than around a quick test drive and I'm surprised to say - I actually really love this car. After spending about 4 days with it, I would happily own one, honestly as equipped. It had the larger 19" big spoke wheels and a few other upgrades including the very good looking digital gauges which look much much better in person. I took a look at the window sticker and was very surprised to see how long the list of standard features now is on the 3 series. Pretty good value! The sticker on this car with options was about $46,000 USD. I am sad to see that the return-to-center signal stalk is gone from most all new BMWs as far as I can tell. I personally was a fan of it - it was an interesting BMW quirk. I know a lot of people didn't like it but it doesn't take long to get used to.
