"Swagatham Krishna," translating to "Welcome! O Krishna!" is a well-known hymn composed by the great Oothukadu Venkata Subba Iyer in the 1700s. In this composition, he warmly welcomes Lord Krishna, the tender-faced resident of Mathura who defeated the demon Madhu, and expresses complete surrender to him. The hymn beautifully captures Krishna's enchanting presence, adorned with fragrant flowers and the distinctive Kasturi tilak. It recounts his valorous deeds, including his heroic dance on the hoods of the Kaliya serpent and his protection of Gokulam. Each verse highlights Krishna's virtues and deep connection with his devotees, ultimately celebrating him as the savior of the righteous and the embodiment of love and devotion. The group choreography for this performance is crafted by Sanjeev Jena and Vaibhavi landge . Music Credit to Racea Sripaena , adding a vibrant visual element that enhances the devotional spirit of the hymn.
