This is my attempt to finish the infamous race in shortest time possible. The difficulty is "Classic", driving mode is "Simulation", transmission is manual. The total time is 4:26,92 and is taken from the last frame where the time is visible in the top-right corner at the end end of the race. Few notes: The grass offers as much grip as the road, so cutting some corners is very beneficial as the traction is not lost and speed is kept high. Getting through the traffic quickly is essential to achieve fast time. I got very lucky with half of the grid getting held up on the way to the T1. The car behaves very understeery, however the ramming button (F) can help to tighten the driving line in sharper corners quite a bit if used correctly. I made few mistakes along the way, but I am still quite satisfied with the result. I believe a perfect run can be achieved with sub-4:20 time. In overal, the race mission in remake is much easier than in the original Mafia - race is shorter, car is easier to handle, AI opponents take themselves out in scripted crashes... I don't understand why people find this mission so difficult. ------------------------------------------------- And to the person that used its 3 accounts to dislike this video 3 times in few minutes, I am sorry was not faster ;P :)
