How to wash the filter on Dyson V11™ & V15™ cord-free vacuums with small bin | Monthly maintenance

Keep your Dyson V11™ or Dyson V15™ cord-free vacuum with small bin performing at its best by washing the filter unit monthly. This video includes subtitles, turn them on for the best viewing experience. Filter cleaning instructions: Wash using cold water only, no detergents. Start with the pleated paper element: hold upright under a cold tap and rotate gently. Wash the foam element next. Clean the outside: fill the unit with cold water, cover the open end, and shake gently. Repeat until water runs clear. Allow the filter to dry completely for at least 24 hours before refitting. Important care notes: Failure to clean regularly may trigger the ‘Filter needs cleaning’ message. Do not use detergents, submerge the filter unit, or place any part in a dishwasher.
