How To Install Illuminated Door Kick Plates On G37 Sedan

I found some OEM illuminated kick plates at the junk yard the other day so I decided to buy them and I got them for 30 bucks. I read a forum on how to install them but it was a bit confusing at first so I decided to make a video for all the visual peeps. Down below are my recommendations for this install Buy 18-22 gauge T-taps or Quick splices (the wires on the car harness are really thin) -(Be gentle when tapping into the cars electrical harness you don’t want to yank a wire. The wires are pretty tight together so open up a bit of the heat shrink it has to loasen it up a bit) -I used 18 gauge wire to run power and ground to the kick plates. I highly recommend buying different colors to differentiate power and ground -Buy some wire loom to organize the wires and make the install look neat and OEM (Optional) -Give yourself enough wire length to run from the driver side to the passenger side.
