Flying a Condor 757 in 2025 | Trip Report | Boeing 757-300 | Palma to Frankfurt

Today we’ll be taking a flight on an increasingly rare aircraft type, the Boeing 757, from Palma to Frankfurt, operated by the German airline, Condor. Condor are one of the last European operators of the 757, and even operate the rarer variant, the -300, compared to the most commonly seen one, the -200. For the past year or so Condor have been introducing the Airbus A321 Neo across its short haul network, which is what’s replacing their fleet of 757s. And with their 757s all set to leave the fleet in October this year, it’s the chance to fly on one while you can. The flight itself was incredibly smooth, which is something I’ve found flying on the 757 across all airlines, is that it’s a very smooth aircraft to fly on. There was little clouds along the way which offered some nice views of the Swiss Alps, and the German Countryside too. And a thanks to the first officer who after landing, chatted for a fair few minutes to us about his history in aviation, and some interesting facts about the 757. Overall a pleasant flight and just shows how much the 757 will be missed amongst enthusiasts. Thanks for watching...
