On 29/30.03.2025, the Sector-142 police team was checking on the basis of confidential information received, when on the basis of the information, the police team signaled a WagonR car without a number plate to stop, on which the accused in the WagonR car instead of stopping started driving the car fast and tried to escape. When the police team chased the car, the accused got down from the car near FNG Road, Sector-140 and opened fire on the police team while trying to escape. In the retaliatory action taken by the police team, one accused was injured by a bullet in his leg. The injured accused has been identified as Rahul Kumar alias Raju son of Ramshankar resident of village Taraulia, police station Kurra, district Mainpuri, presently resident of Nagla Charandas police station, Phase-2, Gautam Buddha Nagar, age 30 years. 01 illegal pistol with 01 empty cartridge and 01 live cartridge have been recovered from the possession of the accused. The second accused Manish Kumar Rai son of Devnarayan Rai resident of village Navtoli, police station Andharathadhi, district Madhubani, Bihar, present address Nagla Charandas, police station Phase-2, Gautam Buddha Nagar, age 30 years has been arrested during combing, from whose possession an illegal pistol with 01 live cartridge has been recovered. A total of 5 looted/stolen mobile phones and a WagonR car without number plate used in the incident have been recovered from the possession of the accused. The injured accused has been sent to the hospital for treatment. In relation to a mobile phone recovered from the possession of the accused, FIR No. 55/2025 under Section 303(2) BNS has been registered at Sector-142 police station. Mode of committing crime: The accused are cunning criminals who commit robbery and theft. They commit the crime of stealing and snatching the mobile and belongings of the passenger by making him sit in the recovered WagonR car, against whom many cases are registered. On 27.03.25, the accused made the plaintiff sit as a passenger in the WagonR car and dropped him in Sector-140 citing emergency and stole his mobile phone and Rs. 300 cash.
