Aion Ascend is the latest server released by NCSOFT for Aion Classic. Unlike retail Aion, the classic versions have taken a different turn. The regions are altered, new systems are in play and even classic exclusive classes are available. NCSoft has released Aion Ascend as a hyperboost server but with a twist. Progression in this server revolves around kinah, the ingame currency. Most of the upgrades and consumables are all purchased by the npc. You earn kinah by participating in weekly events, doing dailies and other activities. However, despite being touted much less p2w than retail and classic, the exact opposite is what we found in Aion Ascend.
