False Cape is Virginia's most remote state park. In this episode, the adventure continues. After returning to camp from viewing the sunrise, I ate breakfast and quickly got ready to hike. Trying to stay ahead of a rising tide, I first hike several miles south along the beach, reaching the Wash Woods section of the park and looking for the remains of the Clythia, a wooden ship that wrecked in 1894. I continued south along the beach until reaching the fence at the park's southern boundary and the state line with North Carolina. Then it was time to head in to the interior of the park to check out more sights. Thanks for coming along!
