Since you’ve seen enough, More than eyes want to see, All you’ve ever needed to see, And want to see no more; What hope to find in person, You could not in the distance? What profound new revelation, Could ever change your vision? I’ve tried but can’t see how, You needed to see no more; Why speak of transparency? Spare me the tragedy… Don’t lie, with a full belly, Give hope, say you’re hungry, Waste time, when you’ve already, Clearly made up your mind. You can’t begin to fathom The repercussions, damage done; I hate to do what I must do now, Yet someone, has to do it. This will hurt me more than you, But you won’t blindside me again; Lose yours so we’ll lose touch, Lose mine for an escape.
