VIA's F40PH-2Ds were built between 1986 and 1989 by GMDD in London Ontario. They were delivered in a grey and yellow livery with a thin blue stripe and a small Canadian flag. In 1998 repainting into a similar livery but with a wide blue stripe with the word "Canada" and a large Canadian Flag. Only 6429 never received this livery because it carried advertising liveries. In 2006 two units (6424 & 6446) received a large VIA Canada logo. In 206 the first locomotive 6400 was rebuilt and received the new Renaissance livery. As all the remaining units were rebuilt they received this livery. Locomotives are seen operating in all these liveries. Locations include most provinces of Canada (PEI & Newfoundland do not have rail service) Many thanks to Manny Jacob for his help with this project. More livery information at http://www.railbus.ca
