This is Perky. Perky is a thing of beauty. Truly a bewildering spectacle to the average citizen. One part basic no-frills transportation, two parts fantastical Exner beauty, and three parts aggressive slowness - thanks in full to the Perkins P4C engine under the hood of this finned wonder. In previous episodes, I've detailed my journey with Perky so far, including torquing many important suspension fasteners with hopes of keeping my passengers and myself alive, making major improvements in the engine room, and even taking a misguided pleasure cruise down many miles of shoulders along our local highways. Today, with some help from David and Allan, I'd really like to deal with Perky's most pressing issue - a very blown head gasket. And since the Perkins is such a simple instrument of smoke production, this can't possibly be too big of a job...Right?
