The Grace School of Applied Diplomacy held it third annual international conference, Diplomacy and the Future of Democracy: Transprofessional Responses to Contemporary Diplomatic Challenges, on October 13-14, 2022. The first keynote address of day 2 of the conference was delivered by former U.S Ambassador to Russia, Ken Olivier and Angela Nomellini Professor of International Studies in Political Science, Director and Senior Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, and the Peter and Helen Bing Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, all at Stanford University, Michael McFaul.
