Sandboarding and Dune Buggy in Huacachina Peru

August 4th, 2019: Spent the day sandboarding and dune buggying in the desert in huacachina / Ica, Peru. Not going to lie after the first run down the bunny hill I thought this excursion was going to be a total rip off but after we hopped in the dune buggies and started hauling ass i knew it was worth it already. My wife is actually a great snowboarder but couldn't quite get the hang of all the added friction the sand had on the board. I picked it up pretty quick and even landed one of my patented tail grabs. In the end it felt like double the value cause the dune buggying was just as fun as the boarding. The sunset was absolutely insane over the desert and riding back to our oasis at dusk was surreal too. Song: Exhale by ZHU.
