Randomly walking around London, capturing its sounds and ambience. We start our walk on Haymarket, passing by Her Majesty Theatre, then turning left on Pall Mall E, then getting to Trafalgar Square, where we can see The National Gallery, Nelson's Column, fountains and lions, then crossing to the equestrian statue of King Charles I, then facing to The Mall, when we can cross the Admiralty Arch, the Old Admiralty Building, Captain James Cook's statue, the Royal Marines Memorial, the Mall Galleries, The National Police Memorial, the Guards Memorial, The Household Cavalry Museum, The Treasury Horseguards Road, where guards and horses stay vigilant, then facing to Whitehall, where we can see the Field Marshal Earl Haig Memorial, the Dover House, the Gwydyr House, The Women of World War II Memorial, The Cenotaph, where the street changes its name to Parliament St., the Richmond House, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. Then we briefly turn onto King Charles St to see the King Charles Street Arch and back to Parliament St. to pass by Westminster Station and get to Parliament Square. Then a slight sight of Bayswater Rd in Sussex Gardens. Then we move on to Piccadilly Circus, where we can see the world famous location and some iconic landmarks, like the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain, the advertisement LED walls, the Hard Rock Café, The London Reign, and then we continue on to Regent Street Saint James's. We move on to Waterloo Pl to see the Guards Crimean War Memorial and the Florence Nightingale statue, then the Duke of York Column, where some filming or TV scene shooting was taking place. Probably that was a scene from The Crown. What do you reckon? Do you know what was going on? Tell me in the comments! Then, we head towards Horse Guards Street, walking alongside Saint James's Park until King Charles Street, where we can see the Indonesia Memorial and the Robert Clive statue. Then, we get across this street to get back to Parliament Street. We get to Bridge Street to take a look to the Elizabeth Tower, housing the world famous Big Ben at Westminster Palace. Then, we get to Parliament Square to see the statues of several famous world leaders, like Sir Winston Churchill, David Lloyd-George, Ian Christian Smuts, Viscount Palmerston, Millicent Garrett Fawcett, Benjamin Disraeli, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Abraham Lincoln. We can also see famous buildings like the Westminster Abbey, the St. Margaret's Church, The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom the The Sanctuary, next to the Crimea and Indian Mutiny memorial. Then we get back to Parliament Square, alongside Westminster Abbey, to get to St. Margaret Street, to walk alongside the Westminster Palace, where we can see the New Palace Yard, the Westminster Hall, the House of Commons, the statue of Oliver Cromwell, St. Stephen's Hall, the House of Lords, the Royal Gallery, the Royal Court, the Robing Room and the Victoria Tower. Then, we get back to Bridge Street to head to Westminster Bridge, where we can see the River Thames, the famous London Eye ferris wheel and the statue of Boadicea and Her Daughters. Then, we hop on the London Underground (the tube) to get to the London Bridge at night. We can also see The Monument, a tower in memory of the big London Fire. We walk alongside the Tower of London to finally get to the tower bridge. We end our journey walking across the world famous Tower Bridge, perhaps the most iconic London landmark.
