The process for this glitch is simple, but it requires at least 3 controllers. Go to the character select screen and have at least 2 other people joined in. With any player other than player 1, select the character that you want a duplicate of and have it locked in. Then, leave the group by pressing start on that particular controller and follow up with selecting that same character on a different controller. When you rejoin as the player that initially left, the character they had selected when leaving will be automatically selected for them upon returning. This allows you to have up to 2 duplicates of a character, meaning you can have 3 players be the same character. Unfortunately it doesn't work the same if you only have 2 players, since the game doesn't save any locked in characters when reverting to a solo character. What's neat about this trick is that the experience you gain for a character will also stack at the end of an event or race. To prove that it is stacking, I chose Reala who was initially at level 1 to perform this trick. One example is the experience transition from the second clip to the third clip (all clips being in order and back to back). In the second clip of this video, Reala's experience was at 3581 at the end of the experience points tally, while the other 2 had 1335 and 1325 experience points. Now in the third clip, the experience total started out at 6241 as opposed to 3581. Take note that 1335 + 1325 = 2660, and that 3581 + 2660 = 6241. Although the experience stacking seems to be non-existent at first glance, it is definitely noticeable on the following tally of the experience points. What's neat about this trick is that in this specific mission, you can have a character leveled up from 0 experience to max in exactly 9 expert completions of the event (considering you don't fail any of them). For the last character slot I recommend picking a character you want to level up next, or plan on leveling up in the future. Enjoy! ^_^ Twitch: / darkspinessonic Twitter: / darkspinessonic
