"Fragile systems" - Ana Luisa Soares Fala Atelier, Portugal Lecture in English « Fragile systems » reflects on architectural practice in Europe as a field of shared values rather than national expressions. Today, ways of building, regulating and thinking architecture increasingly overlap across borders, making local identities less visible. This condition is not necessarily a loss : it can be productive, open and collective. The risk lies not in sameness itself, but in drifting towards generic, uncritical responses. The lecture explores how fragility, coherence and difference can coexist within a common european ground. » Ana Luisa Soares co-founded Fala Atelier in 2012 with Filipe Magalhães. The firm initially specialized in interior design before moving into construction. Its work has been showcased at the Venice Architecture Biennale and in exhibitions held in Panama, Italy, North Macedonia, France, and Portugal.
