Hospital Vlog Day 3 | HLHS Update Last night was a tough one. Dawn-Louise was in significant pain overnight. She was given paracetamol first, and when that wasn’t enough, she needed Oramorph for stronger pain relief. Her arm is still swollen, and today she talks us through what her hand is feeling like and what doctors are monitoring. Every time she stands up, her oxygen levels drop, so for now she’s taking things slowly while the team keep a close eye on her circulation and recovery. In the middle of hospital life, Dad surprised her with a gift she’s been wanting for a long time 🤍 We also share a look at our hospital breakfast routine and what a real day on the ward looks like. Hospital days aren’t just machines and medication — they’re resilience, uncertainty, and finding small moments of normality in between.
