Solving Systems of Linear Equations in two variables - Part 4 (Algebra in Algebra class! No way!!!)

For some reason most Algebra classes don’t teach Algebra. Here it is. It is much easier than Arithmetic or Pre-Algebra. We invented Algebra because Arithmetic is so hard. Give the students what they need to be able to think more easily. Teach Algebra in Algebra class! The actual language. Not just steps to memorize to get the answers to specific questions in a way that avoids understanding the answer or the question. Teach the language so they can think in that language! Well how do I grade that? Blah blah. We wouldn’t need to grade them at all if we just let them learn the language instead of brainwashing them. They would learn the math on their own for fun. But then us teachers wouldn’t have a job! Sure we would. But it would be more rewarding than forcing people to do the equivalent of memorizing and regurgitating random sequences of zeros and ones resulting in our society having the exact opposite impression of what math actually is, and, literally wiring their neural networks to make “thinking” more difficult. Math makes thinking easier. That’s why the universe insisted our brains evolve to be able to do it. It avoids unnecessary repetitive mental labor just like our physical machines do. I don’t want to add 2+2+2+… a 1000 times. So I will just think 2000’s two’s instead of two and two and two and…. Same thought but much quicker and easier. Math simply lets us think faster, thus resulting in deeper and more interesting ideas, resulting in more idea representation techniques (math). It is the art of thought. The only way we will stop destroying the planet we live on is simply stop giving our youth brain damage by systematically brainwashing and blinding them with years of torture. Thousands of hours wasted in classrooms busy with tedious repetitive tasks that require no thinking, just “knowing”. We are alive and the gift is the ability to THINK. Computers know everything. To take away our choice to think is to literally zombify us. Our current Math Education is turning our society into the Undead. The solution to all the world’s problems is to stop doing that. Then people will retain their natural ability to think and a lot of our problems simply go away on their own because individuals will have models of reality with enough dimensions to understand the obvious value of our world, each other, and ideas we haven’t explored yet and be compelled to love, explore, discover, and evolve. If you want to BELIEVE, then first believe in yourself. “I think therefore I am.” This is the gift “God” gave us. To fear it and resort to “knowing” is to dismiss the ultimate gift in favor of allowing our bodies to exist lifeless (not motionless) until they return to dust. Mathematical Radical. The Radical is the “root” symbol. Let’s get to the root of the problem and quit getting caught up in the symptoms. Suffering is a necessary part of life. But there is a lot of unnecessary suffering we bring upon ourselves. All this unnecessary suffering goes away as soon as we simply feel free to THINK. Because that is when we are truly as alive as we can be.
