Orlando Florida Day 1 | How To Upgrade Universal 3 Park Ticket To 2 Park! | UOAP NIGHTS After Hours.

Welcome back to The Harrisons Adventures! Instagram @theharrisonsadventures. Its Day 1 of our Florida holiday! We started the day with going to Universal studios to upgrade the families 2 park tickets to annual passes as both Trudie and Danny had previously upgraded on last years trip, We went to Guest services in city walk to upgrade rather than in the park as we wanted to see if this could be done to 2 park removing volcano bay as we have no plans to use the water park. we managed to upgrade the whole family to Preferred passes for around $200 each and trades was upgraded from seasonal to preferred 2 park for around $100 this meant we had early entry into the parks throughout our holiday is what we wanted. we would highly recommend the upgrade to preferred if you have car hire as this takes off the cost of parking everyday plus early entry and discounts throughout the parks! We spent a few hours around Islands of adventure getting on a few of our favourite rides then headed over to Universal studios To get on RIP Ride Rocket as it was Alfies only chance before it closed forever! Then we went into the UOAP discount store not sure what to expect going in but we actually found some fantastic deals! few T-shirts for Alfie and a Grinch lounge fly for Trudie discounted down to about $17 we found it other shops still selling at $90! BARGAIN!! We then left the parks and nipped to Walmart for a few essentials needed for the villa. It was then time to head back to Universal Studios as we had tickets for UOAP Nights this was our first experience of this free event, We got tickets through the Universal app which had all gone within an hour of being available it was a free event for annual pass holders however once in the park we did find it to be very busy and did seem to be a struggle for staff to remove none ticketed guests from within the park. queue times stayed high for a large part of the night we got in the queue for Gringots and ended leaving after 20 mins as the queue hardly moved and was extended to a part we hadn't even been to in normal park hours! fortunately we did manage to get on RIP Ride Rocket for the final time before it shut We've always enjoyed that ride even with its mixed reviews.
